2026 Concert Series
Wet Ink Ensemble, New York (US)
Wet Ink is a New York City–based octet of composers, improvisers, and interpreters with a 25-year history of performing and developing new music in close collaboration with composers. The ensemble presents works shaped by diverse backgrounds, communities, and musical practices.
The Wet Ink 2026 Concert Series features three concerts in New York City that bring together the ensemble’s composer-performers with international guest artists. Presented in Manhattan and Brooklyn, the series includes premieres, newly commissioned works, improvisation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration within contemporary chamber music.
The season includes a March concert in Manhattan with Taiwanese sheng virtuoso Li-Chin Li, a June program of world and U.S. premieres at Roulette in Brooklyn, and the ensemble’s 4th Annual Mini-Festival in December at Dixon Place. In parallel with the live performances, Wet Ink will document the season through audio and video recordings published via the Wet Ink Archive, the ensemble’s free online journal, extending the project’s reach to a global audience.
This concert series is supported by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
