Application deadline
- Applications can be submitted between December 10th 2024 and January 31st Projects can begin anytime from 15 June 2025.
Funding model
- Each institution is permitted one funding application per deadline.
- Funding for youth projects is part of a special funding programme and therefore separate from other funding projects at the EvS Music Foundation.
Applicants
- Applications are to be submitted by the organising institution, not by the individual or on one’s own behalf. However, several partners are welcome to apply with a joint project.
Online application
- Applications can only be submitted online in German or English. To do so, you must register with our application system. Please complete the online form in full, using complete sentences (no keywords).
- You can save your application and continue working on it another day. Do not send the application until you have completed all mandatory fields.
- You can review your application using the PDF view function. Your application will be delivered to the board of trustees in the form in which it appears.
- In addition to the application form and the financial plan, the jury requests an additional file for their meeting. This document can include up to eight additional pages and should contain the following information, depending on the project: Information about the applicant institution and the parties involved, a detailed project description (if applicable), information about your experience in projects for children and youth, etc. You can upload the document in the application form.
- The application must be successfully uploaded by the deadline. After submitting your application, you will receive an automatically generated e-mail confirming receipt in the system. Applications that have not been submitted will be deleted from the system after the respective deadline.
Funding amount
- This project will receive a total of €25,000 in funding. This can be used for full or partial financing of the project.
Additional material to be submitted
- If you are planning a project in which works by young or lesser-known composers will be performed, please submit sample scores and recordings by the application deadline. If possible, these should be works with larger ensembles; the recorded pieces and scores should correspond. If you are unsure whether you are required to submit material about the composers involved in your project, you can check with us in advance.
- The material must be submitted online together with the application form. Please use a cloud service to submit the material. You can include the corresponding link directly in the form.
- The material must be permanently accessible via the cloud service. Do not store the material as a download and do not submit the material via a data delivery service that only provides access for a few days. There may be a delay of several weeks between the submission deadline and the meeting of the board of trustees.
- Neither the link to the cloud service nor the material can be sent separately and/or retrospectively by email to the foundation.
- Links to homepages of composers can be included in the CVs.
