Foresty International Music Festival

Foresty International Music Festival 2026, held in the Alto Monferrato region of Piemont, returns in July and August with four themed weeks devoted to contemporary music, improvisation, and classical repertoire. Each week combines masterclasses or workshops with concerts and public lectures, all offered free of charge in historic and modern venues across several villages.

The 2026 edition features a composition masterclass led by Clara Iannotta and an improvisation workshop with John Butcher. Throughout the festival, audiences can experience new works, site-specific performances, improvisation events, and presentations by international artists. Ensemble Collettivo_21 will also premiere a new commission by Giulia Lorusso for ensemble and electronics at the festival’s final concert.
