2026/27 Concert Season

Explore Ensemble’s 2026/27 concert season features new works by young and established composers alongside works by significant twentieth-century composers including Gérard Grisey, Morton Feldman, and Clarence Barlow. The program includes seven world premieres, one UK premiere, and repeat performances of recent commissions by composers including Lisa Illean, Laure M. Hiendl, Jack Sheen, Cassandra Miller, and Okkyung Lee. Guest performers include mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean and saxophonist David Zucchi.

In May 2027, Explore Ensemble will also develop an educational project with Camden Arts Centre for 10–13-year-old students. The project centers on the Harmonic Spiral, a free online instrument based on the music of Catherine Lamb. Developed by James Bradbury in collaboration with Lamb and other composers, the instrument is designed for both compositional and educational use.
