2026-27 Concert Series

Another Sky is a platform dedicated to new music from the SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) region and its diaspora. For its 2026–27 concert season, Another Sky is commissioning new works by three SWANA composers: Sarah Badr, Lucie Nezri, and Dali de Saint Paul. Badr’s work will be performed by Explore Ensemble, while No Hay Banda, making its UK debut, will perform new works by Nezri and de Saint Paul.

Over six to twelve months, the composers will work closely with ensemble members to develop their practice in instrumental, electronic, and electroacoustic composition. Each composer will also receive at least a year of tailored mentorship covering composition, copyright, contracts, and professional development.

The concert series is supported by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
