Coming Together Festival 2026

Louth Contemporary Music Society (LCMS) celebrates its twentieth anniversary in June 2026 with The Coming Together Festival in Dundalk. Since its founding in 2006, LCMS has introduced contemporary music to Ireland through commissions, collaborations, and performances by some of the scene’s leading artists.

Supported by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation, LCMS will mark this milestone with a new commission from Beat Furrer for soprano, clarinet, and string trio. This premiere will be presented alongside performances of Lied, Canti della tenebra, and other works. The concerts will be performed by Cantando Admont, joined by Irish and international soloists.

In addition, the festival will also feature works by Frederic Rzewski, Jürg Frey, Harry Partch, and Davóne Tines.
