Commission to Agustín Castellón, Roberta Lazo, & Juan Manuel Quinteros

With support from the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation, Asociación Cultural Mismar commissions three new chamber works by Chilean composers Roberta Lazo, Agustín Castellón and Juan Manuel Quinteros: Recuerdos del eco for oboe and percussion, Recuerdos de allá for oboe and piano, and Canciones de ayer for two oboes. Developed through collaboration between composers and performers, the works explore contemporary approaches to the oboe, including extended techniques and new timbral possibilities. The project is led by oboist José Luis Urquieta with performers Leonardo Cuevas, Victoria Vial and Pablo Pallero, in collaboration with Ensamble Dibujos.

The works will be professionally recorded, digitally distributed, and premiered in Chile and Spain in 2026.
