Commission to Hy-Khang Dang

For the summer project of the Orchestre National des Jeunes du Luxembourg (ONJ), the young Luxembourgish composer Hy-Khang Dang is writing a new work that will be performed in three concerts: in Mersch, in Apeldoorn, and at the Young Euro Classic Festival in Berlin.

The Orchestre National des Jeunes du Luxembourg brings together 72 young musicians aged 14 to 30 from Luxembourg and abroad. Under the direction of Pit Brosius, the participants will work on a challenging symphonic program in the summer of 2026 that combines classical and contemporary works. The project offers young musicians the opportunity to perform at the highest level, forge national and international connections, and gain valuable stage experience. The combination of intensive rehearsals, workshops, chamber music, and concert tours fosters both musical excellence and the personal and artistic development of the participants.
