Concert tour: The Black Page Orchestra

In October 2022, the Black Page Orchestra will bring subwoofers, ear-protecting headphones, 4-channel electronics and live video to the concert halls of five cities in Serbia: Belgrade, Kragujevac, Niš, Novi Sad and Šabac. The tour includes works by composers such as Oyvind Torvund, Maja Bosnić, Matthias Kranebitter, Svetlana Maraš, Christof Ressi and Mirela Ivičević. The concert programme creates overlaps between different art and media genres.

A work by Svetlana Maraš, the former head of the Electronic Studio of Radio Belgrade and current professor and co-director of the Electronic Studio in Basel, will be premiered. Furthermore, the Serbian premiere of the work ((mno.go)) by Maja Bosnić, a commissioned work supported by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation in 2021 and premiered at the musikprotokoll festival in Graz, can be experienced. The Black Page Orchestra’s Serbia tour is made possible by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
