Edge of Your Seat III

Esprit Orchestra is developing its third edition of the Edge of Your Seat Festival, comprising four concerts: FAST!, BIG!, RICH!, and BOLD!. The series includes the North American premieres of Simon Steen-Andersen’s TRIO for orchestra, choir, big band, and video and Christophe Bertrand’s Scales, as well as the world premiere of a new work by Nicholas Ma. The series also features works by John Adams, Daniel Bjarnason, Unsuk Chin, Sofia Gubaidulina, Anders Hillborg, Gabriela Ortiz, Andrzej Panufnik, Steve Reich, and Vito Žuraj, as well as soloists Michael Bridge, Cameron Crozman, and Teng Li.
