Klang Festival 2027

Klang Festival’s 18th edition in Copenhagen features two new commissions: a large-scale ensemble work by Simon Løffler for Ensemble Modern, and Anastasis (Eremitsange): Bøn, a 40-minute solo cycle by Jeppe Ernst performed by percussionist Matias Seibæk.

Simon Løffler’s new piece for thirteen musicians expands his typically intimate compositional practice into a broader collective framework. It will premiere at The Black Diamond in a dedicated program featuring works by Georg Friedrich Haas, Clara Iannotta, Vito Žuraj, Jennifer Walshe, and Ted Hearne. Jeppe Ernst’s Bøn concludes his four-part Anastasis cycle, utilizing a specialized staging for percussionist Matias Seibæk at Dansehallerne.
