London Contemporary Music Festival 2024

Since its formation in 2013, the London Contemporary Music Festival has become one of the most original, progressive and respected new music festivals in the UK. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the innovative and multidisciplinary programme includes 17 new commissions and significant revivals, with a focus on London’s experimental scene.

The festival examines the aesthetics of provocation and explores how composers use concepts and processes such as mischief, shock, obstinacy, obstruction, deception, pranking, vandalism, humour and cheek.

Events range from orchestral concerts and intimate solo performances to film screenings and dance performances.
