LUX AETERNA.REVOICE

LUX AETERNA.REVOICE responds to the current context of global instability and ongoing war by focusing on the preservation of Ukrainian cultural identity through contemporary music. The project explores themes of loss, memory, and the relationship between human expression and technology.

Following the 2023 edition of LUX AETERNA, the 2025 program includes a residency and public performances in Berlin and The Hague, along with mentoring sessions andrehearsals.

Ukrainian and Bulgarian composers Alla Zagaykevych, Maxim Shalygin, Maxim Kolomiiets, and Peter Kerkelov have each created new works combining experimental electronic sound with live acoustic performance. Their compositions—Psalms of Falling, Sub Rosa, Disappearing Voices, and phos-phorus—are dedicated to Ukrainian artists and cultural workers who have died as a result of the war.
