Mixtur 2026 Workshops

Founded in 2012, the Mixtur Festival features concerts, workshops, sound installations, lectures, and round tables with artists from around the world. The 2026 edition includes approximately 40 world premieres, including festival commissions and works by participants in the Composition and Sound Experimentation Workshop.

The Composition and Sound Experimentation Workshop 2026 is an intensive program for emerging composers and sound artists. It includes individual and group lessons, reading sessions, masterclasses, lectures, and performances of participants’ works. The program focuses on developing compositional practice and providing opportunities to work with established composers and other international participants.

The 2026 workshops are supported by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.
