Music Current Festival 2026

Dublin Sound Lab is a contemporary music group focused on electronic and computer-mediated performance, with a flexible, project-based lineup.

Established in 2016, the Music Current festival celebrates contemporary and electronic music at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin. The 2026 edition includes six concerts, three workshops, and a panel discussion. The concerts will feature the Dublin Sound Lab as well as Judith Fliedl, Proxima Centauri, Spóldzielnia Muzyczna, the Ressi/Benes Duo, and Topographies. The festival is organized around three strands: public concerts by established and emerging international artists; public discussions on technology and music reception; and professional and public engagement activities, including masterclasses, workshops, roundtable discussions, and open rehearsals led by participating composers and ensembles.
