O Canto das Sementes

Between June and July 2026, Ensemble Orbis will collaborate with DME Festival and Lisboa Incomum on a project spanning Seia, Lisbon, Lyon, and Paris. The project features four new commissions by Mariana Vieira, Jaime Reis, Rocío Cano Valiño, and Simon Louche. The program will also include works by Henrik Ajax, Sandra González, Ana Maria Oancea, Demian Rudel Rey, and Panayiotis Kokoras.

Alongside the concert program, DME Festival will commission four new works by composition students. Through residencies in Seia and Lisbon, participants will receive artistic mentorship, attend workshops and masterclasses, and work directly with the ensemble.
