Portrait Concert Series: Maja Bosnić

In a portrait concert series, the Youth Center CK13 in Novi Sad explores works by Serbian composer Maja Bosnić and opens them to the public. The concert series, made possible by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation, will feature several works by Maja Bosnić, including Unity.projections [001=>2] for accordion and cello, The Upgrade for ensemble with mobile phones, A/C Modulations for piano, \com. app.data for ensemble with mobile phone apps, Vessels (160935 km) for amplified strings, mobile phone and video, pneumothorax (ˌnjuːməʊˈθɔːræks) for soprano saxophone and piano and Menuet4phoneS, an interactive performance with audience using mobile phones.

In addition, there will be a creative workshop entitled The Art of Readymade, in which participants will use everyday objects in a new artistic context. The ideas and practices developed during the workshop will be presented in an interactive concert. The concert series will be accompanied by a public talk with the composer.
