Collective lovemusic, winner of the 2025 Ensemble Prize, performed at Wien Modern for the first time, presenting The Sad Album by composer Laura Bowler.
This project impressively demonstrates the collective’s working methods. The musicians developed the concept for the concert together with Laura Bowler and Sam Redway. The Sad Album deals with grief and shows the different facets of the grieving process. The premiere at the Festival Musica Strasbourg was enthusiastically received: “… an all-round successful show that keeps us in suspense” (Res Musica).
