Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation’s support educational projects

The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation is pleased to announce that it will be offering special funding for projects aimed at children and young people for the 2025/26 concert season. The promotion of educational projects is intended to have a broad impact and reach children and young people without any previous musical background.

Applications that are open to all social classes and groups are particularly welcome. Participatory projects, which can be created by and involve the engagement of the children themselves, will be supported in the same manner as traditional educational projects. The foundation encourages those involved to incorporate contemporary and new music into their educational activities. It is therefore preferable at aspects of contemporary music and an experimental approach to sound play a role in the project.

Four educational projects will be selected for the 2025/26 concert season, each of which will be funded with 25,000 euros. Detailed information on the funding conditions will follow shortly. The Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation looks forward to reading about your project ideas and how they will help introduce the unheard-of to the younger generation. You can apply from December 10, 2024. The closing date for applications is January 31, 2025.
