Eric Fellhauer
Eric Fellhauer has been a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs since 2020. Previously, he was Co-Head of Investment Banking (since 2011) and Managing Director at Lazard Frankfurt, advising on complex corporate transactions for German and international corporations as well as for the German government. Other stations in his professional career include Carlyle Munich (2003-2006), Merrill Lynch Frankfurt and London (1998-2003), Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Frankfurt (1995-1998) and from 1994 to 1995 Commerzbank Frankfurt, for which he carried out privatisation projects in Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Fellhauer regularly gives guest lectures at the universities in Heidelberg, Münster, Karlsruhe, at the Frankfurt School and at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. After studying industrial engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe, he completed his doctorate at the Institute for Economic Theory there on the topic of liberalism and distributive justice, in which he examined F. A. von Hayek’s liberal theory of justice.
