Crossroads 2025

The Crossroads concert series, organised annually by the cultural NGO Quarter Tone, returns for its eighth edition in 2025.

The opening concert on May 27 features Armenia’s leading contemporary music ensemble, Ensemble Assonance, performing a dynamic programme of Armenian premieres and a world premiere. Highlights include works by Tigran Mansurian, Giuliano Bracchi, Aram Hovhannisyan, Ruben Antonyan, Gyorgy Kurtag and two pieces by Karmella Tsepkolenko – including a newly commissioned work, Collisions, supported by the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation.

In addition to performances, the series offers public masterclasses, talks and seminars, including a special composer portrait dedicated to Tsepkolenko.
